The boys crashed out of the Portsmouth Cup in the first round after an eventful clash with East Lodge.  After going 1 0 down inside 10 minutes the lads started to get into the game and equalised through Chay Trevaskis.  Further goals by Harrison Reed and Charlie Arthur put the boys in a commanding position. But 2 late 1st half goals levelled the game for East Lodge. The second half saw Ville generally on top and it was no surprise when Harrison scored his second to give us the lead again. But just as it looked like we would hold out for the win, East Lodge took advantage of a lapse in concentration by our boys and equalised. Into extra time the boys seemed shell shocked by the late leveller and went behind to a poor goal to conceed. As the lads chased the game East Lodge took advantage of the gaps left at the back and increased their lead to finish 7 - 4
